Dhrupal taught in the UK for seven years, splitting her time between classroom teaching and leading the secondary English PGCE on a school-centred initial teacher training (SCITT) programme. She was certified as a Specialist Leader in Education and also went on to deliver an NQT (now ECT) accreditation programme in Hampshire. In 2018, Dhrupal moved to South East Asia, where she has headed up departments in international schools in Thailand and Malaysia. Always eager to find interesting avenues into the topics that she teaches, Dhrupal is particularly passionate about curriculum design and helping students to make connections between their learning. In her free time, she enjoys travelling with her partner, sampling local cuisines, and making friends with the cats she meets on these journeys.

Bhavini taught in the UK for 13 years, leading departments in both suburban and inner-city schools, and working closely to develop new teachers in her role as ECT induction tutor. In 2024, Bhavini made the leap overseas, becoming Head of Department at an international school in Malaysia and also the Teaching and Learning Lead, delivering CPD at secondary and supporting the quality assurance of pedagogy across the curriculum. Although she’s reluctant to admit it as an English teacher, Bhavini has a particular interest in marking and assessment; she is keen to implement strategies that foster a growth mindset in students and protect the workload of teachers. Bhavini has recently moved to Singapore with her partner and two cats, from where she hopes to continue her exploration of Asia.
